Abbott Risk Consulting has been officially accepted as an Ergonomics Society Registered Consultancy.
The Ergonomics Society is the UK-based professional society for Ergonomists, Human Factors specialists and those involved in user-centred design. As the longest established body of its kind, the Ergonomics Society serves the interests of members from the UK and those who join from other countries by:
- Encouraging and maintaining high standards of professional practice through education, accreditation and professional development
- Promoting the interests of ergonomics and ergonomists across government, academia, business and industry, and
- Raising awareness of ergonomics in general.
The Ergonomics Society maintains a Consultancy Register, which is intended as an authoritative list of individuals and organisations capable of providing ergonomics advice to clients, on a consultancy basis, to the high technical and commercial standards required by the Society.
